Since its inception in 1949, the Canadian Peace Congress has been guided by the words of the founding President of the World Peace Council, Frederic Joliot-Curie: “Peace is Everybody’s Business”.

Individuals:

Community Peace Councils are local chapters that support the aims and objectives of the Congress. We currently have chapters in the following locations:

• St. John’s
• New Brunswick
• Ottawa
• Kingston
• Toronto
• Regina
• Edmonton
• Vancouver
• Fraser Valley
• Vancouver Island

Individuals who support the aims and objectives of the Congress and do not have a local chapter in their area are encouraged to apply for an Associate Membership.

Organizations:

National or regional organizations that support the aims and objectives of the Canadian Peace Congress are encouraged to apply for an Affiliate Membership.
